The basic principles of carrying out commissions by ASTROMAN Co. Ltd.
in terms of search and selection of personnel:
1. The main principle of ASTROMAN Co. Ltd. in terms of search and selection of personnel is the concern for the protection of the Client's and candidate's interests during all stages of cooperation.
2. The personnel consultancy is carried out maintaining full secrecy of the information received from the Client and candidate.
3. Information is circled within ASTROMAN Co. Ltd. only within a limited degree necessary for the correct carrying out of the commission.
4. No information is passed outside ASTROMAN Co. Ltd., whether in written, oral or other form, formal or informal, without the consent of the person providing the information (Client or candidate).
5. The Consultant [ASTROMAN Co. Ltd.] agrees with the Client what information, and at which stage of the search and selection process, can be passed on to candidates taking part in the process, and also what may be revealed in the press advertisement in connection with this process.
6. The Consultant informs the candidate beforehand what type of information concerning him or her will be presented to the Client.
7. The Consultant shall not enquire about opinions and references concerning the candidate without his or her knowledge and consent.
8. The personnel consultancy in terms of search and selection is carried out in accordance with standards of objectivity. Recommendations are prepared based on the best methods possessed by the Consultant, and one of their criteria is the conformity of the candidate's characterisation with the requirements of the job position as specified by the Client.
9. ASTROMAN Co. Ltd. during the entire search and selection process does not undertake any actions violating the interests of the Client - the employer. ASTROMAN Co. Ltd. is especially obliged:
- not to recruit candidates from among employees of the Client, who have been hired by him on the basis of a recommendation made by ASTROMAN Co. Ltd.
- not to recruit candidates from among employees of the Client, while carrying out the commission received from him for the search and selection of personnel, or at the least during the two year period following the closing of the last commission.
Should the candidate join the selection process out of his or her own initiative, thereby contravening the principles mentioned in a) and b), he or she shall be excluded from the process and informed about the causes for the decision. The Consultant by means of consultation with the candidate may address the candidate's employer (former Client), requesting their agreement towards his or her participation in the selection process (whilst maintaining the principles of secrecy mentioned in pts. 2-7).
10. ASTROMAN Co. Ltd. carries out the search and selection of personnel on the basis of a written contract concluded between ASTROMAN Co. Ltd. and the Client, drawn up on a universal commission form prepared by ASTROMAN Co. Ltd.
11. The remuneration to be received by ASTROMAN Co. Ltd. for the proper care taken in rendering the service, is specified in the contract concluded between ASTROMAN Co. Ltd. and the Client, or in the consultancy service price list for the given year. The personnel consultancy is settled in stages according to the progress of the service, and in compliance with the establishments of the contract or the commission, and the price list.
12. The basis for cooperation is the profile of the candidate and the way of carrying out of the commission. Changes to any essential elements of this profile may be a basis for renegotiating the terms of the contract concluded with the Client. Aiming towards a full realization of the terms of the contract, the Consultant considers as priority the fulfilling of requirements regarding the profile of the candidate as determined by the Client, as well as the way of carrying out the commission.
13. The Client is obliged by ASTROMAN Co. Ltd. to respect the accepted principles of cooperation and also to maintain full secrecy of the conditions of cooperation and other information obtained during this cooperation - concerning both ASTROMAN Co. Ltd. and the candidates presented to the Client by ASTROMAN Co. Ltd. The revealing to third persons of documents presented to the Client by ASTROMAN Co. Ltd., and concerning the company (the offer, reports, information materials, etc.) or the presented candidates, is unacceptable.
14. ASTROMAN Co. Ltd. expects that the rank of the job position with the Client's company's hierarchy, as well as the conditions of employment in this position, will not be modified to a degree being highly inconsistent, in a negative sense, with the contents of the offer presented to candidates for this position - during the carrying out of the commission, or after its closing.
15. ASTROMAN Co. Ltd. grants the Client a 12-month guarantee, obliging ASTROMAN Co. Ltd. to present, free of charge, new candidates for the position being the subject matter of the rendered service, should the Client resign from employing the candidate taken on as a result of this service, or should the candidate resign from employment with the Client. The guarantee does not cover instances when the resignation of the Client occurs for reasons other than not fulfilling by the candidate the conditions agreed upon by the Client, and specified in the contract with ASTROMAN Co. Ltd. Furthermore, the guarantee does not cover an instance of resignation by the candidate brought about by the Client not fulfilling the conditions of the offer presented to the candidate.
16. The personnel consultancy services rendered by ASTROMAN Co. Ltd., in terms of search and selection, are carried out only on commission of employers, and not employees; therefore, charging the latter any fees, requesting any services or imposing thereupon any liabilities is unacceptable.
17. The candidate is entitled to obtain information about the objectives and methods of the selection process, as well as about the results of this process.
18. The candidate is entitled to refuse to undergo a certain method of selection. The Consultant is obliged to inform the candidate about possible consequences that the refusal may have on the remainder of the selection process.
