Microsoft to acquire LinkedIn for USD26.2 Billion
Redmond, Wash., and Mountain View, Calif., USA - June 13, 2016 - Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq: MSFT) and LinkedIn Corporation (NYSE: LNKD) on Monday announced they have entered into a definitive agreement under which Microsoft will acquire LinkedIn for $196 per share in an all-cash transaction valued at $26.2 billion, inclusive of LinkedIn's net cash. LinkedIn will retain its distinct brand, culture and independence. Jeff Weiner will remain CEO of LinkedIn, reporting to Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft. Reid Hoffman, chairman of the board, co-founder and controlling shareholder of LinkedIn, and Weiner both fully support this transaction. The transaction is expected to close this calendar year.

Otwock-Świerk - 27 maja 2016 - Naukowcy z Narodowego Centrum Badań Jądrowych (NCBJ) rozważają budowę nowego reaktora w Świerku. Podpisany list intencyjny pomiędzy brytyjskim konsorcjum U-Battery a NCBJ otwiera drogę do powstania pierwszego w Polsce badawczego reaktora wysokotemperaturowego (HTGR). Reaktory wysokotemperaturowe HTGR, dzięki zastosowaniu specjalnego paliwa, w którym uran chroniony jest warstwami węglika krzemu oraz obojętnego chemicznie helu jako chłodziwa, pozwalają bezpiecznie operować znacznie wyższymi temperaturami niż typowe reaktory chłodzone wodą. To pozwala na uzyskanie doskonałych parametrów ciepła przemysłowego.

BlackRock Hires Mark Wiseman as a Senior Investment Leader, responsible for investing over USD 275 billion

The strategic alliance will extend an existing partnership between Nissan and MMC, under which the two companies have jointly collaborated for the past five years.
