New 7th Gen Intel Core Processor: Built for the Immersive Internet
Santa Clara, Calif., USA - August 30, 2016 - The way we interact and connect with each other has evolved. It's richer and more immersive, as video has become an increasingly important medium we use to enhance our conversations. The emergence of 4K Ultra High-Definition, 360-degree video, and virtual reality has dramatically widened and deepened our vantage points. These trends in how we consume and create content, in how we communicate and interact, reflect what we at Intel call the immersive internet. And the best way to take advantage of the immersive internet is on a computer with the performance to deliver a lifelike experience. People need the power to view, the power to create and the power to play - something that the PC is uniquely designed to do. To power these experiences, today I'm excited to unveil the new 7th Gen Intel Core processors. Built for the immersive internet, this new generation of processors leverages our long-standing performance leadership and adds unmatched new media capabilities.

Yavuz Sultan Selim nad Bosforem.
Istanbul, Turcja - 26 sierpnia 2016 - Dziś został udostępniony do ruchu ogromny Most Sułtana Selima Groźnego. Jest to przeprawa drogowo-kolejowa autorstwa francuskiego konstruktora Michela Virlogeux. Łączy europejską i azjatycką część Stambułu. W ceremonii otwarcia uczestniczył m.in. prezydent Turcji Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Nowy most o szerokości 59 m, z dwoma czteropasmowymi jezdniami i dwoma torami kolejowymi, nosi imię Selima Groźnego - jednego z głównych budowniczych potęgi i prestiżu imperium osmańskiego.

2016 Intel Developer Forum - Intel's FPGA Future: We're Here to Stay
San Francisco, CA, USA - August 18, 2016 - Day three of the 2016 Intel Developer Forum included something for the first time: the Intel SoC FPGA Developer Forum. This one-day, co-located event focused on the Programmable Solutions Group - formerly known as Altera - and its SoC FPGA technology. Intel CEO Brian Krzanich presented the event keynote, and he answered a variety of questions that many have had since the acquisition. Technology today, as Brian said, continues to "erase the boundary between the digital and physical worlds" as is evident with the rise of technologies such as virtual reality and artificial intelligence. Intel's strategy to enable this smart and connected world reaches all the way from the sensors and actuators to the cloud. And FPGAs and SoC FPGAs will play a central role in enabling this world.

Intel: The Foundation of Artificial Intelligence
Santa Clara, CA, USA - August 09, 2016 - Intel is a company that powers the cloud and billions of smart, connected computing devices. Thanks to the pervasive reach of cloud computing, the ever decreasing cost of compute enabled by Moore's Law, and the increasing availability of connectivity, these connected devices are generating millions of terabytes of data every single day. The ability to analyze and derive value from that data is one of the most exciting opportunities for us all. Central to that opportunity is artificial intelligence. While artificial intelligence is often equated with great science fiction, it isn't relegated to novels and movies. AI is all around us, from the commonplace (talk-to-text, photo tagging, fraud detection) to the cutting edge (precision medicine, injury prediction, autonomous cars). Machine learning, and its subset deep learning, are key methods for the expanding field of AI. Intel processors power >97% of servers deployed to support machine learning workloads today.
