Polski 20-złotowy banknot NBP najlepszym banknotem kolekcjonerskim na świecie
Kuala Lumpur, Malezja - 15 maja 2017 - Podczas tegorocznej Currency Conference w Kuala Lumpur, polski banknot o nominale 20 złotych, wyemitowany w 2016 roku z okazji 1050. rocznicy chrztu Polski, otrzymał główną nagrodę za "najlepszy banknot kolekcjonerski". Banknot z okazji 1050. rocznicy chrztu Polski wykonała Polska Wytwórnia Papierów Wartościowych na zlecenie Narodowego Banku Polskiego. Do obiegu został wprowadzony 12 kwietnia 2016 roku, w nakładzie 35 tysięcy sztuk. Autorem projektu jest Krystian Michalczuk, artysta-grafik z PWPW.

Siemens implements further targeted efficiency improvements at individual businesses
Munich, Germany - May 11, 2017 - Siemens is rigorously pursuing further targeted efficiency improvements at individual businesses. Plans call, among other things, for reviewing the geographical setup of Siemens' own IT activities and driving the digitalization of its own processes. A centralization of the storage facilities at the Digital Factory Division is also planned. Boeing Demonstrates Airborne Networking System
Arlington, Va., USA - May 8, 2017 - Boeing (NYSE: BA) and the U.S. Air Force recently demonstrated that multiple aircraft and ground stations can efficiently and securely communicate using the Boeing-developed Talon HATE airborne networking system. During flight testing at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., Talon HATE pods on two F-15C aircraft enabled test pilots to share information through the military's Link 16, Common Data Link and Wideband Global SATCOM satellites. The tests also validated intra-flight datalink network capabilities used by F-22 aircraft. Pilots using the system can transmit information quickly between the F-15C and other Air Force aircraft and weapon systems, enabling efficient information sharing in real time.
