Micron Announces Agreement to Acquire Numonyx
Boise, Idaho and Geneva , Feb. 9, 2010 - Micron Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: MU), and Numonyx Holdings B.V. announced today that the companies have signed a definitive agreement under which Micron has agreed to acquire privately held Numonyx in an all-stock transaction valuing Numonyx at approximately $1.27 billion USD.

Iberdrola Renovables and the EBRD agree to jointly develop wind projects in Eastern Europe
Iberdrola Renovables and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) have agreed to jointly develop wind projects in Eastern Europe. Pursuant to this agreement, the EBRD will invest a maximum of EUR125 million in Iberdrola Renovables subsidiaries in Poland (EUR75 million) and Hungary (EUR50 million), via two rights issues giving it 25% stakes in both companies.

Global wind power boom continues despite economic woes
Brussels, 3 February 2010. The Global Wind Energy Council today announced that the world's wind power capacity grew by 31% in 2009, adding 37.5 GW to bring total installations up to 157.9 GW. A third of these additions were made in China, which experienced yet another year of over 100% growth.

Lenovo Reports Third Quarter 2009/10 Results
HONG KONG, February 4, 2010 - Lenovo Group today reported results for its third fiscal quarter ended December 31, 2009. During the third quarter, Lenovo's worldwide PC shipments increased 42 percent year-over-year, helping the Company to achieve for the third straight quarter its highest market share ever at nine percent. Comparatively, industry PC shipments increased 17 percent worldwide during the same period.

The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the offering have not yet been determined.

Rover Gives NASA an "Opportunity" to View Interior of Mars
PASADENA, Calif. - 21 January 2010 - NASA's Mars exploration rover Opportunity is allowing scientists to get a glimpse deep inside Mars. Perched on a rippled Martian plain, a dark rock not much bigger than a basketball was the target of interest for Opportunity during the past two months. Dubbed "Marquette Island," the rock is providing a better understanding of the mineral and chemical makeup of the Martian interior.
