Ben van Beurden to be next Chief Executive Officer of Royal Dutch Shell plc
Hague, the Netherlands - July 09, 2013 - The Board of Royal Dutch Shell plc today announced that Ben van Beurden will succeed Peter Voser as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 January 2014. Peter Voser will leave Shell at the end of March 2014, marking the end of 29 years with the Company. Van Beurden, 55, has been Downstream Director since January 2013.

First round of EU-US Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership negotiations starts
Washington, D.C., USA - July 8, 2013 - The first round of Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) negotiations kicked off today in Washington, D.C. with an opening plenary session emphasizing the importance of the negotiations and laying out plans for the round, which will end on Friday. The negotiating groups that met on Monday, July 8th discussed investment, government procurement, cross-border services, textiles, rules of origin, energy and raw materials and legal issues. The chief negotiators from the United States and European Union also met.

World's largest offshore wind farm with 175 Siemens wind turbines inaugurated
Margate, Great Britain and Erlangen, Germany - July 04, 2013 - Today, marked the official inauguration of London Array, the world's largest operational offshore wind power plant to date at an official event in Margate, Kent. Rated at 630 MW, Phase One of London Array generates enough energy to power around 500,000 British homes and displaces over 900,000 tonnes of CO2 a year - equivalent to taking nearly 300,000 cars off the road each year. Siemens was responsible for the supply of 175 wind turbines, the grid connections and will provide service under a long-term agreement together with Dong Energy.

Polska liderem wzrostu inwestycji zagranicznych w Europie i najatrakcyjniejsza w regionie
Warszawa - 6 lipca 2013 - Według najnowszego raportu Ernst & Young Polska jest liderem wzrostu inwestycji w Europie. W 2012 roku Polska odnotowała najwyższy wśród krajów europejskich przyrost liczby projektów inwestycyjnych: o 22% więcej niż w 2011 roku; w tym czasie Europa zanotowała spadek o 2,8%. W ubiegłym roku bezpośrednie inwestycje zagraniczne utworzyły w Polsce o 67% miejsc pracy więcej niż rok wcześniej; wynik całej Europy to +8%. Sama liczba 13.111 nowych miejsc pracy stawia Polskę na trzecim miejscu na kontynencie za Wielką Brytanią i Rosją. Inwestycje lokowane w Polsce należą do pracochłonnych - jeden projekt tworzy średnio 88,6 miejsc pracy, co daje Polsce trzeci wynik w Europie. Raport uplasował też Polskę na 1. miejscu w regionie Europy Środkowo-Wschodniej pod względem konkurencyjności inwestycyjnej.
