The C-X75’s designers found inspiration in the innovative engineering and functional design elements of cars like the 1950s C-Type and D-Type racers and unique 1966 XJ13 Le Mans prototype.

However, the intention was not to dwell on the past, but to embrace these influences and project them onto the future.

When designing a car capable of speeds in excess of 200 mph, aerodynamics is crucial.

Your average supercar muscles its way through the air, covered in wings and spoilers to help with grip.

A much more elegant approach was taken with the C-X75.

Using an underbody Venturi and directional exhaust gas control, the car was kept as compact as possible.

Materials were selected with a sense of responsibility - both to the purity of the car’s design and to its efficiency.


Lightweight Aluminium Construction


As with the current XJ, up to 50% of the C-X75’s structure is made of recycled aluminium.

In addition to its sustainable qualities, the lightweight metal enhances performance and agility, giving it a distinct edge over the current crop of supercars.


Environmentally Efficient Leather


An eye for the sustainable extends inside the cabin as well.

Both the Ceramic dashboard leather and the Storm Grey leather were sourced from the Scottish company Bridge of Weir, one of the most environmentally efficient leather producers in the world.
