One of the most common sleep disorders, OSA affects approximately five to six percent of the adult population and two to three percent of children.
It is characterized by a narrowing or closing of the upper airway, which obstructs breathing during sleep.

More than two-thirds of all people with sleep apnea are not diagnosed and if left untreated OSA can increase the risk of other serious chronic conditions such as diabetes and heart disease.
Philips is a pioneer in science-based sleep solutions, which are a strategic element of the company’s commitment to provide innovative solutions for the home.
