GE today announces the appointment of three new company officers.
GE currently has 195 officers globally who lead large revenue-generating businesses or are in critical functional roles, helping to drive growth.

Below are the details of the new officers:
Hasan Dandashly, 53, has been appointed VP, Downstream Technology Solutions, GE Oil & Gas.
In this role, he is responsible for leading a newly structured division within O&G bringing together our existing downstream products and services expertise to focus on delivering solutions in both the traditional downstream market and the evolving unconventional oil & gas markets.
Hasan has been with GE for over 15 years, having served to-date in a number of businesses including Oil & Gas, Power & Water, Global Research, Transportation, and Energy.
He started his career in software and served in a number of management roles before assuming his current role as general manager for the GE Oil & Gas Global Services business.
Hasan is a graduate of the Lebanese American University in Beirut where he obtained a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, and of the University of Minnesota, in the United States, where he received a Masters in the same subject.
He is married with 4 children.

Jamere Jackson, 44, has been appointed VP & chief financial officer, Drilling & Surface, GE Oil & Gas.
In this role, Jamere is responsible for driving financial rigor, developing strategy and implementing change across the Drilling & Surface portfolio.
He is also responsible for North America financial operations for GE Oil & Gas.
Jamere has been with GE for over 8 years, having served as CFO for Aviation Systems, GE Aviation; CFO of GE Military Systems, GE Aviation; and Chief Financial Analyst in GE's Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis organization, before assuming his current role as CFO for Drilling & Surface, GE Oil & Gas.
He is also an active member of GE’s African American Forum affinity network.
He received his undergraduate degree in Finance and Business Economics from the University of Notre Dame.

Monish Patolawala, 43, has been appointed VP & chief financial officer, GE Transportation.
In this role, Monish is responsible for overseeing financial growth, driving financial rigor, developing strategy and implementing change across the globe for GE Transportation.
Monish has been with GE for 18 years.
Before assuming his current role as CFO for GE Transportation, he also served as CFO – Lighting & Industrial Solutions for GE Home & Business Solutions; Finance Manager, Global Ops for GE Power & Water; and CFO – Motors & Controls for GE Home & Business Solutions.
He received his BCom in Accounting/Economics/Finance from St. Joseph’s College of Commerce, Bangalore.
He also received his ICWA from the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants, India, as well as his CA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants, India.
