Poland's CodiLime to partner with GigaSpaces on new product features of Cloudify 3.0

Lockheed Martin Commercial Launch Services Successfully Launches WorldView-3 Satellite
Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif., USA - August 13, 2014 - Lockheed Martin (NYSE:LMT) Commercial Launch Services (LMCLS) has successfully launched the WorldView-3 commercial remote sensing spacecraft. An Atlas V 401 blasted off at 11:30 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time from Space Launch Complex 3 East, placing WorldView-3 in orbit for customer DigitalGlobe and marking the 118th consecutive successful Atlas launch to date. WorldView-3 is the first multi-payload, super-spectral, high-resolution commercial satellite for earth observations and advanced geospatial solutions. Operating at an expected altitude of 617 km, WorldView-3 will have an average revisit time of less than one day and will be capable of collecting up to 680,000 square kilometers of imagery per day, further enhancing DigitalGlobe's capacity for rapid and reliable collection.

Avago Agrees to Sell LSI's Axxia Networking Business and Related Assets to Intel for $650 Million
San Jose, Calif., Singapore and Santa Clara, Calif., USA - August 13, 2014 - Avago Technologies Limited and Intel Corporation today announced the signing of a definitive agreement for Intel to acquire LSI's Axxia Networking Business and related assets for USD650 million in cash. LSI's Axxia Networking Business is being divested from Avago following the recent completion of Avago's acquisition of LSI. Boeing Awarded $250 Million Contract to Modernize NATO AWACS Fleet

Poland's KGHM started copper production at the Sierra Gorda mine in Chile
Sierra Gorda, Antofagasta Region, Chile and Lubin, Poland - July 31, 2014 - Poland's KGHM - the world's leading copper and silver producer - started feeding ore into the process plant in its Sierra Gorda mine in Chile this week. It is one of the largest and fastest-developed mining projects in the world. The mine's opening ceremony is planned this autumn, in the presence of Polish, Chilean and Japanese authorities. After the mine's ramp-up, which is scheduled to be completed in early 2015, Sierra Gorda will produce 120 thousand tons of copper, 50 million lbs. of molybdenum and 60 thousand oz. of gold annually. Once phase II of the project is completed, the annual average production will reach 220 thousand tons of copper, 25 million lbs. of molybdenum and 64 thousand oz. of gold over the mine's 20 year life. There is additional production potential in the processing of oxide ore. First copper cathodes have already been produced after initial tests. Sierra Gorda SCM, operated by KGHM International, is a joint venture between KGHM (55%), Sumitomo Metal Mining (31.5%) and the Sumitomo Corporation (13.5%). The mine is located in the Antofagasta region within the Atacama Desert, which is Chile's largest copper producing region.

Warszawa - 26 lipca 2014 - Zamrożenie wszystkich aktywów Rosjan na świecie jest niemożliwe. Padłyby banki, załamałyby się rynki nieruchomości. Zaogniająca się sytuacja wokół konfliktu na Ukrainie, zwłaszcza po zestrzeleniu samolotu malezyjskich linii lotniczych, może skutkować nasileniem przez Zachód sankcji wobec Rosji i najbogatszych Rosjan, zwłaszcza związanych z Kremlem.
