Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and JAXA Launch Success of H-IIA Launch Vehicle No. 25 with "Himawari-8" Onboard
Tanegashima Space Center, Japan - October 07, 2014 - Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) launched the H-IIA Launch Vehicle No. 25 (H-IIA F25) with the Geostationary Meteorological Satellite "Himawari-8" onboard at 2:16:00 p.m. on October 7, 2014 (Japan Standard Time, JST) from the Tanegashima Space Center. The launch vehicle flew as planned, and, at about 27 minutes and 57 seconds after liftoff, the separation of the Himawari-8 was confirmed.

Raport Cushman & Wakefield 2014: Warszawa wśród największych rynków inwestycyjnych na świecie
Expo Real w Monachium, Niemcy - 08 października 2014 - Z corocznego raportu firmy Cushman & Wakefield zaprezentowanego dziś na targach inwestycyjnych Expo Real w Monachium "Winning in Growth Cities" wynika, że w minionych 12 miesiącach do końca czerwca 2014 roku wolumen inwestycji w nieruchomości komercyjne na całym świecie wzrósł o 17,2 proc. do poziomu 788 mld USD, przy czym najwięcej zainwestowano w Nowym Jorku. W ciągu 12 miesięcy do końca drugiego kwartału 2014 roku wolumen inwestycji w nieruchomości komercyjne w Nowym Jorku wyniósł 55,4 mld USD, co przekłada się na 7 proc. udział w globalnym rynku. Dzięki wzrostowi aktywności inwestycyjnej o 40,5 proc. Londyn, w którym zainwestowano 47,3 mld USD, zmniejszył dystans dzielący go od Nowego Jorku. Ponadto stolica Wielkiej Brytanii cieszy się największą popularnością wśród inwestorów zagranicznych. Z kolei Tokio z inwestycjami na poziomie 35,5 mld USD odzyskało trzecią pozycję w rankingu wyprzedzając Los Angeles (33,1 mld USD), które spadło na czwarte miejsce. Pierwszą piątkę zestawienia zamyka San Francisco, w którym wartość obrotów na rynku inwestycyjnym wyniosła 23,8 mld USD.

Hewlett-Packard To Separate Into Two New Industry-Leading Public Companies
Palo Alto, Calif., USA - October 06, 2014 - HP (NYSE: HPQ) today announced plans to separate into two new publicly traded Fortune 50 companies: one comprising HP's market-leading enterprise technology infrastructure, software and services businesses, which will do business as Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, and one that will comprise HP's market-leading personal systems and printing businesses, which will do business as HP Inc. and retain the current logo. Immediately following the transaction, which is expected to be completed by the end of fiscal 2015, HP shareholders will own shares of both Hewlett-Packard Enterprise and HP Inc. The transaction is intended to be tax-free to HP's shareholders for federal income tax purposes.

Raytheon awarded $251 million Tomahawk missile contract
Tucson, Ariz., USA - September 26, 2014 - The U.S. Navy awarded Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) a USD251 million contract to procure Tomahawk Block IV tactical cruise missiles for fiscal year 2014 with an option for 2015. The contract calls for Raytheon to build and deliver Tomahawk Block IV cruise missiles to the U.S. Navy and U.K. Royal Navy. Raytheon will also conduct flight tests and provide life-cycle support. Production and delivery of the missiles is scheduled to begin in 2015.

Silna Europa to silna gospodarka

XX wieku w celu wyrównania różnic gospodarczych państw europejskich po drugiej wojnie światowej powstaje Europejska Wspólnota Węgla i Stali, przekształcona w 1958 roku w Europejską Wspólnotę Gospodarczą. Europa przegrywa, gdyż skupia się nad rozwiązaniem problemu krzywizny bananów etc. Brakuje jej przywództwa oraz wizji rozwoju, a biurokraci, by być potrzebni, zaczynają zajmować się tworzeniem i rozwiązywaniem sztucznych problemów. Europa nie potrafi sama sobie postawić diagnozy, czego chce, dokąd zmierza. To pogłębia kryzys, gdyż zduszona konsumpcja wewnętrzna nie tworzy nowej przestrzeni gospodarczej, a każde z państw Unii walczy o przetrwanie na własną rękę." - piszą prof.
