deepsense.io to feature Seahorse Community Edition on the Trusted Analytics Platform developed by Intel
New York, NY, USA - September 29, 2015 - deepsense.io, the creators of Seahorse Community Edition (CE), today announced plans to use the Trusted Analytics Platform (TAP), a powerful tool for creating code-free Spark applications developed by Intel. Seahorse CE is an open-source tool created by deepsense.io, it will be featured as an application in the Data Scientist's Developer Kit available with TAP. Seahorse's compelling value proposition is that it quickly and easily allows the user to take advantage of high throughput capabilities with stream data processing and very fast analytics by creating Spark applications without writing a single line of code. It consists of Seahorse Editor (an intuitive and reliable web GUI), Workflow Executor (our open-source application launcher) and an expressive workflow file format that enables the user to easily export workflows from the Seahorse Editor and execute them as applications in their Spark cluster. The first Seahorse CE release has just been launched during the Strata+Hadoop World Conference in New York.

Frankfurt/Main, Germany - September 17-27, 2015 - Matthias Wissmann: "More visitors, more world premieres, more exhibitors - this IAA is a resounding success! IAA expects around 920,000 visitors by Sunday - mega-topic of connected and digital mobility dominates. I would just like to summarize: The 66th IAA Cars is a resounding success. The number of exhibitors has risen. The number of exhibiting suppliers shows an especially large increase again at this public exhibition, climbing to 404. This strengthens an important unique selling point of the IAA, i.e. showcasing the entire value chain. The marked increase in the world premieres - by more than one third, to 219 - has certainly once again enhanced the attractiveness of the IAA. At around 920,000, the number of visitors at the world's most important trade fair for mobility shows a marked rise. To summarize: this IAA is a very successful one in all aspects."

Statement by the German Automotive Industry (VDA)
Berlin, Germany - September 23, 2015 - The German automotive industry (VDA) is dismayed by the manipulation of exhaust tests discovered at one company in the US. What has happened there is incompatible with how the automotive industry perceives itself. A practice involving the wrongful use of a special piece of engine software is inacceptable. We regret most deeply what has happened and take the situation very seriously. The events must now be fully and consistently investigated, and the necessary measures taken to regain lost trust.
The German automotive industry supports the authorities as they work towards comprehensive clarification and examination.

Warszawa - 19 września 2015 - PIT, CIT i VAT po 16 procent - to jeden z głównych elementów programu Nowoczesnej, przedstawionego w sobotę 19 września 2015 na warszawskiej konwencji programowej tego ugrupowania przez Ryszarda Petru. PIT, 16 proc. CIT, 16 proc. VAT, czyli trzy razy 16" - powiedział lider Nowoczesnej.

Porsche Mission E and 911 Carrera at the IAA 2015
Frankfurt, Germany - September 17, 2015 - German chancellor Angela Merkel took a look at the Porsche Mission E. This is what it might look like - the Porsche of tomorrow. Together with the new 911 Carrera, Porsche is presenting the Mission E concept car at the IAA in Frankfurt from 17 to 27 September. In presenting the Mission E at the IAA in Frankfurt, Porsche is introducing the first all-electrically powered four-seat sports car in the brand's history. The concept car combines the unmistakable emotional design of a Porsche with excellent performance and the forward-thinking practicality of the first 800-volt drive system. Key specification data of this fascinating sports car: four doors and four single seats, over 600 hp (440 kW) system power and over 500 km driving range. All-wheel drive and all-wheel steering, zero to 100 km/h acceleration in under 3.5 seconds and a charging time of around 15 minutes to reach an 80 per cent charge of electrical energy. Instruments are intuitively operated by eye-tracking and gesture control, some even via holograms - highly oriented toward the driver by automatically adjusting the displays to the driver's position.

Frankfurt/Main, Germany - September 17, 2015 - Chancellor Angela Merkel opened the 66th IAA Cars (from September 17 to 27, 2015 in Frankfurt/Main, Germany) in the presence of numerous high-ranking guests from politics, business and society. "The world's most important trade fair shows that the digitization of mobility is the mega topic driving the automotive industry forward with innovations coming at a rapid rate. They will make driving even safer, more comfortable, and more efficient. The German automotive industry alone is investing 16 to 18 billion euros in connected and automated driving over the next three to four years. This 66th IAA Cars opens up a view onto the mobility of tomorrow. Over 1,100 exhibitors - more than we've ever had before in this century - are using the entire trade fair grounds as a fascinating showroom. They come from 39 countries. Agencja FBI ostrzega przed zagrożeniami w Internecie Rzeczy

Wiele osób jest obecnie zafascynowanych Internetem Rzeczy, zapominając najczęściej o tym, że jest to nowe środowisko sieciowe, w którym hakerzy już obecnie są niebezpiecznym zagrożeniem dla jego użytkowników. Jest to technologia, która nie doczekała się jeszcze rzetelnych narzędzi, które pozwalałyby skutecznie chronić IoT przed zakusami włamywaczy. W związku z tym agencja FBI opublikowała 10 sierpnia 2015 roku Alert Numer I-091015-PSA, w którym opisuje niebezpieczeństwa związane z faktem, że Internet rzeczy nie jest odpowiednio chroniony.
