Manhattan's USD20 Billion Hudson Yards Project is America's Biggest Real Estate Project Ever
New York, USA - October 25, 2015 - Hudson Yards is the area of Manhattan bounded by West 42nd and 43rd Streets, 7th and 8th Avenues, West 28th and 30th Streets, and Hudson River Park. With a bill of USD20 billion, the project will create over 17 million gross square feet over a train yard that houses LIRR and New Jersey Transit trains. Approximately 10 million gross square footage in Hudson Yards will be dedicated to office space, rivaling entire cities. Most of the construction has so far been done in the eastern section of the yards, which will be predominately commercial. All of the towers will be completed at different times, with the first tower set to open in March 2016, the retail and public space slated for a 2018 opening, and the entire yard completed in 2019. Much of what the developers have in store for the residential component of the project is still under wraps. Out of the 5,000 residential units that will be built by Related Companies, 431 will be dedicated to affordable housing.

Wszystko to przekłada się na dobro pacjenta. To, że 'ktoś' jest szefem takiej organizacji, że cieszy się zaufaniem, powoduje, że Polacy, którzy są na ogół dobrze postrzegani, będą mieli jeszcze lepszą opinię w świecie" - stwierdził prof. Japoński koncern NSG Group ma nowy zakład produkcji szyb samochodowych Pilkington Automotive Poland w Chmielowie
Chmielów / Tarnobrzeg / Sandomierz - 12 października 2015 - W dniu dzisiejszym odbyło się uroczyste otwarcie nowej części zakładu produkcji szyb samochodowych Pilkington Automotive Poland w Chmielowie, w gminie Nowa Dęba, koło Tarnobrzega. Budowa fabryki pochłonęła niemal 0,5 mld PLN. Zakład umożliwi rocznie produkcję 12 milionów szyb samochodowych marki Pilkington i da 1.500 dodatkowych miejsc pracy. Jest to drugi, obok Sandomierza, zakład produkcyjny Pilkington Automotive Poland, w którym powstają szyby przeznaczone dla największych producentów samochodów na świecie, takich jak: Jaguar, Land Rover, Ford, Volkswagen, Fiat i Honda. Zakład produkuje również szyby do samochodów ciężarowych: MAN, DAF, Mercedes i Volvo.

Komisja Europejska chce przyspieszyć negocjacje umowy Unia Europejska-USA o wolnym handlu Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership
Bruksela, Belgia - 09 października 2015 - Unia Europejska i USA jeszcze w październiku 2015 wymienią się nowymi ofertami taryf celnych w ramach rozmów o umowie o wolnym handlu (ang. Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership - TTIP) - dowiedziała się PAP ze źródeł unijnych. Komisja Europejska chce przyspieszyć negocjacje, by do końca roku mieć propozycje tekstu wszystkich rozdziałów. W lutym ubiegłego roku Bruksela przedstawiła Waszyngtonowi listę przewidującą zniesienie 96 procent taryf importowych i zachowanie ochrony taryfowej tylko w przypadku nielicznych "wrażliwych" produktów, takich jak wołowina, wieprzowina i drób. Waszyngton nie odpowiedział jednak równie ambitną propozycją, co na wiele miesięcy zablokowało rozmowy w tej sprawie.

Największa umowa o wolnym handlu na świecie Trans-Pacific Partnership została uzgodniona
Atlanta, USA - 05 października 2015 - USA oraz 11 państw Azji i Pacyfiku ogłosiło w poniedziałek w Atlancie zakończenie prowadzonych od pięciu lat negocjacji transpacyficznego układu o partnerstwie (TPP), który - jeśli zostanie ratyfikowany - będzie największą umową o wolnym handlu na świecie. Umowa o transpacyficznym partnerstwie (ang. Trans-Pacific Partnership - TPP) to umowa o wolnym handlu między 12 krajami Azji i Pacyfiku: USA, Australia, Brunei, Kanada, Chile, Japonia, Malezja, Meksyk, Nowa Zelandia, Peru, Singapur i Wietnam. Umowa nie obejmuje Chin. Swym zasięgiem obejmie aż 40 procent światowego handlu.

Zaha Hadid announced as 2016 Royal Gold Medal winner

Microsoft, ASUS broaden patent licensing engagement

Flight VA226 success: with Sky Muster and ARSAT-2 in orbit, Arianespace serves Australia and Argentina
Kourou, French Guiana - September 30, 2015 - Arianespace successfully launched two satellites this evening: Sky Muster for the Australian operator nbn (National Broadband Network) and ARSAT-2 for the Argentine operator ARSAT. Today's launch was the ninth of the year in nine months, a record for the Arianespace launcher family, and the fifth of the year and 68th successful launch in a row for the Ariane 5 heavy launcher. It lifted off at 5:30 p.m. local time from the Guiana Space Center (CSG) in Kourou, French Guiana. Sky Muster will help reduce the digital divide on this nation-continent, by guaranteeing high-speed Internet access to more than 200,000 Australians living in rural and isolated areas of the country. It will cover the entire country, including Norfolk, Christmas, Macquarie and Cocos islands. ARSAT-2 is the second satellite for the state-owned telecommunications company, ARSAT, and will enable Argentina to further develop and consolidate its own space telecom system. ARSAT-2 will cover the Americas, providing direct-to-home (DTH) TV transmissions, Internet access via VSAT antennas, data transmission and IP telephony services.
