Toyota Motor Corp. Announces the Launch of its New Free Smartphone Navigation App, the TC Smartphone Navigation
Toyota City, Japan - December 1, 2016 - Toyota Motor Corporation announces the launch of the TC Smartphone Navigation, a new smartphone navigation app available from December 1. Toyota has been providing T-Probe traffic information - Toyota's proprietary traffic congestion information based on big data collected from vehicles equipped with on-board data communication modules (DCM) - on the paid T-Connect smartphone app which suggests routes to avoid traffic congestion (2,500 yen annually). At the same time, the route history map which helps to support relief activities in the event of a disaster has been made available on Toyota's website free-of-charge. This feature is also based on information collected from big data, and displays the vehicle's route history. The route history map is also compatible with smartphones.

Part-Time Scientists and Audi lunar quattro ready to head for the Moon
Berlin/Ingolstadt, Germany - November 29, 2016 - It has shed eight kilograms in weight, while also gaining Audi e-tron power: Following extensive tests the "Audi lunar quattro" rover is ready to tackle one of the most difficult terrains of all in exploring the Moon. As well as the development of the lunar vehicle, the mission has now also achieved a further landmark: The German space travel team "Part-Time Scientists" announced yesterday at Audi City in Berlin that it plans to complete the 385,000 km trip to the Moon from the end of 2017 using a launcher booked with Spaceflight Inc. As an early technology partner and ambassador of the Part-Time Scientists' mission, Audi has been instrumental in generating extensive publicity for the project and bringing other strong partners on board.

HMD Global enters the market to bring new Nokia branded phones to consumers
Espoo, Finland - December 1, 2016 - A new and exciting chapter in the story of Nokia branded phones begins today as HMD Global Oy (HMD) - the new home of Nokia phones enters the market. Finnish company HMD will bring a new generation of mobile phones to consumers, with the first smartphone products set to be launched in the first half of 2017, alongside the existing Nokia branded feature phone business. BMW Group, Daimler AG, Ford Motor Company and Volkswagen Group with Audi & Porsche Plan a Joint Venture for Ultra-Fast, High-Power Charging Along Major Highways in Europe
Cologne and Stuttgart, Germany - November 29, 2016 - BMW Group, Daimler AG, Ford Motor Company and Volkswagen Group with Audi and Porsche have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to create the highest-powered charging network in Europe. The goal is the quick build-up of a sizable number of stations in order to enable long-range travel for battery electric vehicle drivers. This will be an important step towards facilitating mass-market BEV adoption. The projected ultra-fast high-powered charging network with power levels up to 350 kW will be significantly faster than the most powerful charging system deployed today. The build-up is planned to start in 2017. An initial target of about 400 sites in Europe is planned. By 2020 the customers should have access to thousands of high-powered charging points.

Kongres swoją nazwę wziął od prefiksu kodu kreskowego, którym oznaczane są towary wytwarzane lub dystrybuowane przez polskie firmy. "Polscy przedsiębiorcy, zwłaszcza ci, którzy zaczynają swoją działalność, muszą być pewni, że państwo będzie ich wspierać na każdym kroku. Że każdy bez wyjątku urzędnik państwowy będzie ich sojusznikiem, a nie prześladowcą. Musimy dać polskim firmom poczucie bezpieczeństwa oraz zredukować do minimum biurokratyczne obciążenia związane z prowadzeniem działalności gospodarczej. Polski przedsiębiorca nie może codziennie zaprzątać sobie głowy, jakiż to nowy przepis zostanie za chwilę wprowadzony i ile będzie musiał wydać pieniędzy na dostosowanie się do kolejnej zmiany prawa. Jestem gorącym zwolennikiem 'gospodarczego patriotyzmu'. Uważam, że państwo powinno pomagać firmom w ich rozwoju i ekspansji na zagraniczne rynki. Młodzi polscy biznesmeni muszą mieć pewność, że stoi za nimi administracja, że stoją za nimi ministrowie, że stoi za nimi prezydent. Niezależnie od tego, która z opcji politycznych w danym momencie trzyma ster władzy. Albowiem polskie traktory, drony i autobusy nie mają barw partyjnych" - stwierdził Andrzej Duda, Prezydent RP.

XI Kongres Obywatelski w Warszawie pod hasłem: Dojrzali Polacy - Lepsza Polska!

Inicjatorem i organizatorem Kongresów Obywatelskich jest dr Jan Szomburg, Prezes Instytutu Badań nad Gospodarką Rynkową. Dla przejścia od kultury przetrwania do kultury rozwoju najważniejsze jest wewnętrzne przekonanie, że nie musimy wymyślać ról mesjanistycznych czy znowu budować odgórnie wymuszanej wspólnotowości. Powinniśmy raczej znaleźć nowe równowagi między otwarciem a zamknięciem - stwierdził w swoim przemówieniu Inicjator Kongresu Obywatelskiego. Brak równowagi w sferze wartości, gospodarki, polityki i relacji społecznych doprowadził w Polsce i na całym świecie do potężnego kryzysu, który kumulował się przez całe ćwierćwiecze. Powrót do równowagi wymaga dojrzałości. Dlatego tegoroczny Kongres odbywał się pod hasłem "Dojrzali Polacy - Lepsza Polska!"
