Ferrari 812 Superfast revealed with 789 horsepower at Geneva Motor Show 2017
Geneva, Switzerland - March 12, 2017 - The new Ferrari 812 Superfast is an updated version of the F12 Berlinetta and introduces a new 6.5-liter V-12 delivering a massive 789 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and 530 pound-feet of torque at 7,000 rpm. The lines of the car are much busier compared to the F12, especially at the rear. Up front we see the new design trend for Ferrari headlights. These are full-LED units that are integrated into the sculpted air intakes on the hood.

Toyota i-TRIL concept at Geneva International Motor Show 2017
Geneva, Switzerland - March 11, 2017 - Designed at the Japanese automaker's ED2 advanced design outpost in southern France, the brief was to create a three-person vehicle that could be seen as a viable alternative to conventional A and B segment city cars, small hatchbacks and motorcycles. While it looks to fill the brief, the one-plus-two seat design is perhaps a little too 'forward looking' for a suburban housewife to identify with, but it would be suitable for people who still want to have fun when driving, even at slower speeds.

Geneva, Switzerland - March 10, 2017 - The Peugeot Instinct concept is a look at the future of autonomy through Peugeot's rose-tinted spectacles. With four drive modes - two for varying degrees of autonomy and two for 'normal' driving - the concept aims to be a vehicle that offers drivers the freedom to choose. In both 'Drive' and 'Autonomous' modes, the driver retains control over the vehicle via the i-Device, which sits next to the 9.7-inch screen in the center console.

Peugeot 3008 wins the title "Car of the Year 2017"
Geneva, Switzerland - March 06, 2017 - The winner of the "Car of the Year"-Award 2017 is the Peugeot 3008. The Jury is made up of 58 journalists from 22 European countries. The final vote took place this afternoon, live from the Geneva International Motor, in the presence of international journalists. Jean-Philippe Imparato, Peugeot CEO received the award. The Peugeot 3008 made the difference during the last tests and thus won, in front of its six competitors, the prestigious and very coveted award. The finalists of this year were: Alfa Romeo Giulia, Citroën C3, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Nissan Micra, Peugeot 3008, Toyota C-HR, Volvo S90/V90.

2017 Event Highlights - Mobile World Congress 2017
Barcelona, Spain - March 3, 2017 - Attendees flocked to Mobile World Congress 2017, more than 108,000 to be exact. Henkel submits binding offer to acquire Darex Packaging Technologies for 1,050 million US dollars
Düsseldorf, Germany - March 2, 2017 - Henkel has entered into exclusive negotiations with GCP Applied Technologies to acquire their global Darex Packaging Technologies business for 1,050 million US dollars (around 995 million euros) on a cash and debt free basis. Today Henkel has submitted a binding offer for the Darex Packaging Technologies business. Darex is based in Cambridge, MA, USA and supplies high-performance sealants and coatings for the metal packaging industry around the world. It serves various global customers producing beverage, food or aerosol cans, ensuring with its solutions the highest quality standards for many best-known brands. In fiscal 2016, Darex Packaging Technologies generated sales of around 300 million US dollars (around 285 million euros). Darex has about 700 employees and 20 sites in 19 countries.

Qualcomm Extends Connectivity Leadership with Second Generation Gigabit LTE Modem
San Diego, USA - February 21, 2017 - Qualcomm Incorporated (NASDAQ: QCOM) today announced that its subsidiary, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., has started sampling Qualcomm Snapdragon X20 LTE chipset, its seventh-generation LTE multimode modem and second generation Gigabit LTE solution, which is built on a leading-edge 10nm FinFET process.
