ABB powers 450kW fast charging for electric buses in Gothenburg
Zurich, Switzerland - November 22, 2017 - Göteborg Energi places order for two 450kW ABB OppCharge fast chargers, facilitating more efficient operation for articulated high-capacity electric buses in Gothenburg. ABB, global leader in EV charging solutions, has today announced a project with Volvo Buses, Västtrafik and Göteborg Energi to bring its 450kW Opportunity Charging (OppCharge) system to the city of Gothenburg.

Warszawa - 22 listopada 2017 - Trzy nowe Boeingi 787-9 Dreamliner z 294 miejscami na pokładzie wiosną i latem 2018 roku pojawią się na trasach PLL LOT do Chicago, Nowego Jorku i Toronto. Obecnie we flocie LOT-u znajduje się 51 samolotów - 8 Boeingów 787 Dreamliner, 4 Boeingi 737-800 NG, 3 Boeingi 737-400, 6 Embraerów 195, 14 Embraerów 175 (w tym dwa do dyspozycji polskiego rządu), 6 Embraerów 170 oraz 10 Bombardierów DHC-8Q400. Już w marcu 2018 roku LOT otrzyma pierwszego z trzech zupełnie nowych samolotów Boeing 787-9 - dłuższą i bardziej efektywną wersję Dreamlinera. Od grudnia 2017 do maja 2019 roku LOT odbierze dodatkowo 6 nowoczesnych Boeingów 737 MAX 8.

Lockheed Martin Receives Contract to Develop Compact Airborne High Energy Laser Capabilities
Bothell, Wash., USA - November 06, 2017 - The Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) awarded Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) USD26.3 million for the design, development and production of a high power fiber laser. AFRL plans to test the laser on a tactical fighter jet by 2021. The contract is part of AFRL's Self-protect High Energy Laser Demonstrator (SHiELD) program, and is a major step forward in the maturation of protective airborne laser systems.
