BMW Group and Toyota Motor Corporation agree to further strengthen collaboration
Tokyo, Japan and Munich, Germany - June 29, 2012 - Akio Toyoda, President of Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC), met today with Norbert Reithofer, Chairman of the Board of Management of BMW AG, at BMW Group headquarters in Munich to announce the planned expansion of their existing cooperation initiated in December last year. The two companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at long-term strategic collaboration in four fields: joint development of a fuel cell system, joint development of architecture and components for a future sports vehicle, collaboration on powertrain electrification and joint research and development on lightweight technologies.

GE's ecomagination Reaches $105 Billion in Revenue
Fairfield, Conn., USA - June 28, 2012 - GE (NYSE: GE) today released its 2011 ecomagination progress report, announcing that the initiative has reached more than $105 billion in sales and services since its launch in 2005. For the year, GE generated $21 billion in revenues from ecomagination products and services and invested more than $2 billion in research and development, continuing progress toward the company's goal of a $10 billion cumulative investment from 2010 to 2015.

A jednak liczby nie kłamią - jak dotąd w czasie wielkiego kryzysu ani nie mieliśmy nigdy recesji, ani nie wypadliśmy z czołówki najszybciej rozwijających się krajów Unii. Nie wzrosło u nas silnie bezrobocie, nie załamał się złoty, żadnemu bankowi nie zagroziło bankructwo, żaden nie zwrócił się do rządu o wsparcie finansowe. Warszawa - 26 czerwca 2012 - Zgodnie z memoriałową zasadą rozliczania podatkowego (czyli po wystawieniu faktury niezależnie od otrzymania zapłaty), której Ministerstwo Finansów broni jak PZPR broniła socjalizmu, podwykonawcy muszą odprowadzić podatki, choć nie odnotowali realnego przychodu. Podatków nie zapłacili za to wybrani przez urzędników wykonawcy, bo zaksięgowali faktury od swoich podwykonawców - mają zatem koszty podatkowe i VAT "naliczony", więc pomniejszają VAT "należny". Zamiast eliminować przyczyny choroby - zmienić prawo zamówień publicznych i podatkowe - parlamentarzyści leczą jej objawy, pisze dr hab. Robert Gwiazdowski, prezydent Centrum im. Adama Smitha.

Microsoft to Acquire Yammer for $1.2 billion in cash
Redmond, Wash., and San Francisco, CA, USA - June 25, 2012 - Microsoft Corp. and Yammer Inc. today announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement under which Microsoft will acquire Yammer, a leading provider of enterprise social networks, for $1.2 billion in cash. General Motors Enters New Era in Russia and investing US $1 billion in its Russian operations
St. Petersburg, Russia - June 22, 2012 - General Motors broke ground today for the expansion of GM Auto, its wholly owned manufacturing facility in St. Petersburg, Russia. It will more than double GM Auto's annual production capacity from the current 98,000 vehicles to 230,000 vehicles by 2015. GM investing US $1 billion in its Russian operations over the next five years.

Siemens: the Integration of Regenerative Energy and Electric Mobility
Kempten, Germany - June 20, 2012 - Siemens and the utility company Allgäuer Überlandwerk (AÜW) in the city of Kempten, Germany, together with the RWTH university in Aachen and Kempten University, are testing a smart grid in the Allgäu village of Wildpoldsried. The joint project IRENE was launched in 2011 and will run for two years. Today, this community of 2,500 inhabitants already produces more than three times as much green energy as is being consumed.

2nd Boeing-built X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle Successfully Completes 1st Flight
Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif., USA - June 16, 2012 - Boeing (NYSE: BA) today announced the successful de-orbit and landing of the second X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle (OTV) for the U.S. Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office. The X-37B landed at Vandenberg Air Force Base at 5:48 a.m. Pacific time today, concluding a 469-day experimental test mission.
