Prof. Marek Belka, Prezes NBP, ponownie wybrany na przewodniczącego Komitetu Rozwoju Banku Światowego i MFW

Marek Belka został ponownie wybrany na przewodniczącego Komitetu Rozwoju, wspólnego forum Banku Światowego i Międzynarodowego Funduszu Walutowego. Warszawa - 08 września 2013 - "To co spowalnia polską gospodarkę to złe prawo. Aby pobudzić wzrost gospodarczy trzeba zdjąć z przedsiębiorców gorset fatalnych przepisów. Jeżeli weźmiemy pod uwagę, że np. ustawa o VAT była w ostatnich latach nowelizowana kilkaset razy, to trudno znaleźć kogoś, kto się w tym jeszcze orientuje. A przecież przedsiębiorca poza śledzeniem tych wszystkich zmian, lawirowania między sprzecznymi przepisami i interpretacjami powinien jeszcze prowadzić działalność gospodarczą i zarabiać pieniądze. W tej chwili jest to coraz trudniejsze. Dlatego uważam, że żadne punktowe zmiany nie naprawią sytuacji. Potrzebna jest rewolucja. Prawo podatkowe trzeba po prostu napisać od nowa." - twierdzi Cezary Kaźmierczak, prezes Związku Przedsiębiorców i Pracodawców.

Alcatel-Lucent signs contract with Telefonica to supply ultra-broadband 4G LTE communications in Spain
Paris, France - September 5, 2013 - Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext Paris and NYSE: ALU) has reached an agreement with Telefonica, to become a reference supplier for its 4G LTE network in Spain, in a 4G LTE project that is among the largest in Western Europe. Alcatel-Lucent will deploy some 8,000 4G LTE base stations and the 5620 Service Aware Manager (5620 SAM). Ultra-broadband 4G LTE network will increase the speeds of services such as mobile video download by up to 10 times.

Microsoft to acquire Nokia's devices & services business, license Nokia's patents and mapping services
Redmond, Washington, USA and Espoo, Finland - September 3, 2013 - Microsoft Corporation and Nokia Corporation today announced that the Boards of Directors for both companies have decided to enter into a transaction whereby Microsoft will purchase substantially all of Nokia's Devices & Services business, license Nokia's patents, and license and use Nokia's mapping services. Verizon Reaches Agreement to Acquire Vodafone's 45 Percent Interest in Verizon Wireless for USD 130 Billion
New York, USA - September 02, 2013 - Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE, Nasdaq: VZ) today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement with Vodafone Group Plc (London, Nasdaq: VOD) to acquire Vodafone's U.S. group with the principal asset of 45 percent of Verizon Wireless for $130 billion, consisting primarily of cash and stock. Warszawa - 03 września 2013 - "Pan Premier Tusk głośno zapowiada, że będzie wobec związków zawodowych stanowczy. A po cichu robi co mu one każą. Świeży chleb ma stawkę 5%. Nieświeży - 8%. Ale na kanapki jest 5% bez względu na to, czy chleb w kanapce jest świeży, czy nieświeży. Bułka, jak ma więcej cukru w cieście, objęta jest stawkę 8%. Dopiero jak jej termin przydatności do spożycia jest dłuższy niż 45 dni, to stawka rośnie do 23%. No chyba, że jest mrożona - wtedy jest uważana za "świeżą" i stawka znowu spada do 5%. Może więc zamiast karać pracowników wyższymi składkami przestańmy uprzywilejowywać jednych producentów kosztem drugich różnymi stawkami VAT na towary, które są de facto takie same? Może na wszystko powinna być jedna stawka VAT? Wpływy budżetowe byłyby z tego tytułu większe niż z tytułu "ozusowania" umów zlecenia. Bo to przynosi gospodarce problemy. " - pisze dr hab.
