Nissan Motor Announces Senior Management Appointments
Yokohama, Japan - December 20, 2013 - Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., today announced management appointments and organizational changes designed to further strengthen operations globally. Paul Willcox, formerly the head of sales and marketing for Nissan Europe will be appointed senior vice president and chairman of Nissan's Europe region. Takashi Hata, currently president of JATCO Ltd, a supplier of automotive transmissions and partially owned by Nissan, is appointed senior vice president and chairman of Nissan's Africa, Middle East and India region, effective February 1, 2014. Jun Seki, who will become President of Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. (DFL) Nissan's joint venture in China with Dong Feng Group on January 1, 2014, is also appointed senior vice president and chairman of Nissan's China region effective January 1, 2014.

Pratt & Whitney, Boeing Celebrate Delivery of First PW4062 Engines for KC-46 Tankers
Everette, WA., USA - December 20, 2013 - Pratt & Whitney and Boeing officials celebrated the delivery of the first PW4062 engines for the first KC-46 test aircraft during an event at Boeing's Everett, WA, facility this week. Howie Chandler, vice president of business development, Pratt & Whitney Military Engines, and Maureen Dougherty, Boeing vice president and program manager, KC-46 Tanker Program, addressed approximately 200 employees on the shop floor of Building 40-32, where the line of 767 commercial freighters and passenger aircraft are being converted into the first KC-46 flight test aircraft for the U.S. Air Force. Aston Martin and Daimler sign technical partnership agreements

IBM to Acquire Aspera to Help Companies Speed Global Movement of Big Data

Dan Akerson to Retire as GM CEO in January 2014; Mary Barra to Become Next CEO; Dan Ammann Named President
Detroit, USA - December 10, 2013 - General Motors today announced that Dan Akerson, who guided today's GM to record profits and dramatic improvement in vehicle quality while closing the chapter on government ownership in the company, will step down as chairman and CEO on January 15, 2014. Mary Barra, 51, executive vice president, Global Product Development, Purchasing and Supply Chain, was elected by the Board of Directors to become the next CEO of the company. Dan Ammann, 41, executive vice president and chief financial officer, was named company president and will assume responsibility for managing the company's regional operations around the world. The company also announced that Steve Girsky, 51, vice chairman, Corporate Strategy, Business Development and Global Product Planning, will move to a senior advisor role until leaving the company in April 2014. He will remain on the GM Board of Directors.

Jeff Koons Presented US Debut of his BMW Art Car at Art Basel in Miami Beach, Florida, USA
