San Juan, Argentina - January 3, 2012 - A new day, a new MINI driver leading the Rally Dakar: as Stéphane Peterhansel is forced to change two tyres, Krzysztof Holowczyc seizes the moment to race into first place overall. Leonid Novitskiy ended day one of the Rally Dakar in first place in his orange MINI ALL4 Racing, before Stéphane Peterhansel replaced the Russian as the overnight leader in his green MINI on Monday.
