However, the prospect of new energy cars is still vague, despite of the fact that the government subsidies have been specified for the HEV and electric cars by the central government sponsored policies such as " The Development Planning of Energy Saving and New Energy Cars Industry" and " The Notice with regard to the Continuous Development of New Energy Cars Application".

Still the industry is short of standards and infrastructure.
