3rd HEV Technology Summit 2014 which will be held on June 26-27 in Shanghai, China, Sheraton Shanghai Hongqiao Hotel.

Development of HEV and electrical cars has been put on top of agenda amid the deteriorating environment which is embodied especially in heavy smog in dozens of cities in China.

However, the prospect of new energy cars is still vague, despite of the fact that the government subsidies have been specified for the HEV and electric cars by the central government sponsored policies such as "The Development Planning of Energy Saving and New Energy Cars Industry" and "The Notice with regard to the Continuous Development of New Energy Cars Application".

Still the industry is short of standards and infrastructure.

The inadequate battery technology for electrical cars and ambiguous policies for HEV are pushing the industry development to its bottleneck.

How does China develop its own pattern when the global new energy cars industry is lacking one?

In 2014, Merisis will be hosting the third annual conference of the HEV technologies.
