Samsung Electronics has been named 2012 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year in the Product Manufacturing Category by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

By offering 960 ENERGY STAR-qualified models across multiple product categories, including more televisions than all other consumer electronics brands, Samsung was selected out of the 20,000 participating ENERGY STAR organizations for its outstanding contributions in ongoing employee, retailer, and distributor training programs, as well as consumer education campaigns, recycling efforts, and labeling practices.
