Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation Selects Boeing to Provide World-Class Customer Support and Services

Le Bourget, France - June 22, 2011 - Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation and Boeing (NYSE: BA) announced a partnership today at the Paris Air Show for Boeing to provide customer support services for the Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ) family of regional commercial jets.

Boeing’s BBJ and VIP Jets
Boeing offers ultra-large-cabin, long-range business jets that redefine spaciousness and comfort for their private owners, government heads of state and charter operators.
The Boeing widebody business jet product line includes the 787 VIP, 747-8 VIP, 777 VIP and 767 VIP.
The single-aisle business jet product line includes the BBJ, BBJ 2, BBJ 3 and BBJ Convertible. Boeing delivers its business jets “green” to a customer-selected completion center for interior configuration and exterior paint.

The MRJ (Mitsubishi Regional Jet) is the next generation regional jet which will offer both top-class operational economy and outstanding cabin comfort.

Boeing Commercial Aviation Services
will provide Mitsubishi Aircraft with 24/7 customer support including spare parts provisioning, service operations and field services.

It will allow Mitsubishi to focus on launching its business as it works with Boeing to create a world-class services operation that Mitsubishi may bring in house in the future.

Boeing will also deploy the latest technology to tailor a service and maintenance web portal for Mitsubishi Aircraft

With a user-friendly interface, the portal will bring together the applications and data needed to detect and predict service, maintenance and repair needs.

The portal will be modeled on Boeing's customer web portal, MyBoeingFleet.com
, and will support an Airplane Health Management System to monitor, collect and analyze real-time, "smart" airplane data, allowing MRJ operators to make maintenance decisions that minimize their aircraft's time on the ground.

Range Capability.
The MRJ will have enough range capability to cover any regional networks in the world.
